Living out of the box

For those who are know me personally and/or follow me on Twitter / Buzz know that I have been in the moving phase from Munich to Mannheim for the past few weeks due to my change of job. We finally concluded (probably the most incorrect word for the context) our move end of last month. To correctly put it we shifted homes but have started living out of box. While most of the people do not like this because it…

Is IPad worth the money?

I for one have been an IPhone 3G user for quite some time. Though I always felt that the device is great as a phone, but the jailed approach from Apple on what you can do on a device you are paying so high out of your pocket is simply something I cannot agree to. But technically speaking the prospect of multitouch which is just he best in the industry at the moment is purely unbeatable ( added with the…

Happy New Year from the Mukerjees

Some of us Indian families here in Munich had a lovely New Years eve @ Indian resturant Surahi . We ( myself and baba)  together with the Kumars, Shuklas, Pathanias, Deshmuks and Bhutanis had a wonderful dinner ( though definitely all the food were overpriced 🙁 ) followed by firecracker shows @ Hohenzollernplatz to welcome 2010 and say adieu to 2009. All the photographs are available in the private gallery ( you require login and password) here.

Denmark Trip

Denmark trip was really fun other than the fact that while driving to Denmark form Germany we faced almost whole day at a real temp of -12°C to -16°C which was really cold. While going it took us about 14 hours to drive, mostly thanks to the the extreme climate conditions , bad roads ( filled with snow and accidents) . Drive to Copenhagen was really nice. Though the toll bridge ( Great Belt bridge) had a toll of 30€…

Vacation time

With the freezing temperatures (-14°C and with wind chill temps going down to low -20s )  and oncoming of winter, how can the vacation time be left far behind ? Tomorrow we plan to go for a week long vacation to  Aalborg, Denmark to visit my father there. Aalborg is the fourth largest city in Denmark after Copenhagen, Aarhus, and Odense. The earliest settlements date back to around 700 AD. It was historically  an important harbour during the Middle Ages,…

Attitude Difference

I have to mention at the beginning of this posts that everything I say in this post is my personal view to the situation only. Walking on the street on a day to day basis I come across different kind of people with different likes or dislikes for an item.
